Shooter Arrested After Man Found Shot In Head, Killed In Baltimore Backyard, Police Say

A suspect has been apprehended more than a week after a 25-year-old man was found dead in Baltimore, authorities announced on Monday.

City resident Tyree Wells, 29 has been arrested and charged for his alleged role in a morning shooting that left Jordan Taylor with fatal injuries. 

Officers from the Baltimore Police Department were called shortly after 9:30 a.m. on Wednesday, June 12 to the 1700 block of Ramsay Street, where they found Taylor in an area backyard suffering from a gunshot wound to the head.

He was pronounced dead at the scene by first responders.

On June 24, the department announced that Wells has been arrested and taken to the Baltimore Central Booking Intake Facility, where he was charged with first-degree murder and other offenses.

He is being held pending his next court appearance.
